Hydrology 9 NX and Artisan Canna Cigars

Why smoke cannabis from a joint when you can experience the very essence of the smoking experience with a Hydrology 9/Cloudious 9 Vaporizer.

I was fortunate to have used the prior incarnation of the Cloudious 9 and it served me well for a couple of years. It came to me, resembling a hand-held “Light Sword” from Star Wars and this early device did most things right. What it didn’t do well was the loading process, water sometimes got into the chamber, because the smoking chamber was located on the bottom of the chamber. Not a great design for a device that was quite expensive, and I had a couple of them. Aside from the funky light show, I had hoped for more at the time. Fast forward to the present, the next incarnation of the Cloudious 9.

The Hydrology 9 is the newest and coolest Cloudious 9 yet. NX is the sub-set/name and this completely redesigned vaporizer bong/dab rig is right at home with my fine flowers and ultra-luxe-concentrates. The learning curve is quite short, as this entire device is quite easy to learn how to use.

The NX is a water cooled- vaporizing vessel for both flower and even your super-critical concentrates.

I am extremely happy with the performance of my NX. The smoking experience is cool and robust, each vaporized hit of the flower is cooled by the liquid that you pour into the chamber.  I used Evian mineral water, you can use regular tap water, it’s up to you.

After your sesh, the entire device can break down to clean and because this machine is so easy to use, you’ll be able to put it back together again, even if you’re deeply stoned!  A win/win! Just as a suggestion, I’d make the chamber a bit wider for ease of filling, but other than that, this is a fun and quite simple way to open your mind. I got really lit up with my NX.

The ground herbs go into a box shaped, self-contained heating chamber that clicks firmly into place. There is another equally handsome chamber for your concentrates with a couple bowls. I didn’t actually smoke any concentrates through my NX, I didn’t have any on hand. But for the vaporization of flower, there are very few devices on the market that do the job so effortlessly. And the buzz? The NX does the trick, without reeking up the house.

Charging is simple with the accompanied charger, your pro-tip is to use the wall charger over the computer port charger, it takes faster to charge the device when it is plugged into the wall. Pro-tip #2 is please, clean it often, a touch of ISO on a Q tip does wonders. This is a finely tuned machine, more than worthy of your finest flowers. And yes, I got high. Really high from vaporizing with the Hydrology 9 NX. You will too.

I recommend the Hydrology 9 NX deeply if you are sensitive to smoke in any flame-driven format. Vaporizing makes the experience memorable, safe to the lungs and fun!

Cannagar of the Week

Artisan Cannagars produces a wide array of hand-rolled and pressed cannagars and cannarillos. Some are even wrapped in cannabis leaf. Each one represents what the pinnacle of success looks like. Sure, they do the classic blunt, wrapped in hemp, looking street-smart and fancy. The deeply colored hemp wrapper embracing the finely cured cannabis flowers. That is gorgeous and it calls out for me to smoke it. Unfortunately, it’s a bit too large for just one person, unless I make a serious effort to get really blazed. That one is about three grams of luscious, hand-tended cannabis flower.

I’ve had a six gram canna-cigar from Artisan waiting for a warm day as it’s been sub-freezing for months on end. With Spring just around the corner, I’m hoping for warmer weather so I can smoke my Artisan Cannagar. Today it peaked out over fifty five for a few hours. But that’s still not long enough time for my Artisan Cannagar. It is six grams. For one person!  I’m just be destroyed if I tried to rush the experience. It’s been a very long time since I’ve shared a cannagar or a joint, or anything really with anyone. Tough to be focusing on high-end weed in my journalism. There are just not enough hours in the day to smoke the cannagars, but I try!

Six Gram Cannagar from Artisan… Pure pleasure, one hit at a time.
