I found there to be essentially two phenotypes from the limited batch of seeds I used (planted 10 seeds and I got 10 sprouts). Some are more like 9 weeks to finish flowering and others are more like 10 weeks to finish flowering. I preferred the longer flowering types myself. Much stronger smells and flavors than their faster sibling sisters; and more potent. These were easy as pie to grow and I had zero issues in my garden. During the second half of flowering these baybees really give off “the dank” as far as wafting smells are concerned.

Be very careful to run your nitrogen levels low during the second half of flowering. The buds have great calyx to leaf ratios, and you don’t want to mess that up. She is a nitrogen beasty, and if you add a little too much available nitrogen during later flowering, she will try and put on some additional foliage/vegetative type growth. This will take both from yields and potency. Don’t even THINK about taking her down too early, or you will lose a ton of potency.
Breeder’s (Dr. Atomic’s) Description of Thai Lights
Indoor 2nd Generation Thai Lights. Shorter, faster, and bigger yields, with that great Thai Haze profile. From Nakan Pranom in northeast Thailand come these great Thai genetics. Also known as Thai Stick and Buddha Grass, was hybridized with Dr. Atomic’s Northern Lights. Sweet, smooth, and uplifting cerebral high. This bud will energize and enlighten you. Novice smokers beware!
Flowering Time: Indoor 9 – 11 weeks
Approximate Yield: up to 60g per plant
Lineage: Northern Lights, Thai Haze

THE SMOKING RUN DOWN BY REV
I just loved doing things while under the influence of this hybrid. Going for long adventure type bicycle rides was insanely fun. This one also expresses a fairly rare (these days) sativa quality, where the more you smoke the higher you will get—and I’m not kidding. A very thin doobie will bake you big, but smoking two of those doobies would significantly mess you up. Unlike many hybrids and indica/indica dominants, where smoking more will basically knock your ass out, this one just keeps kicking it up. Thai Lights is a real connoisseur style treat in a big way.

You will definitely want to let this one stay in vegetative state for at least 55 days before flowering her out. I would flower clones indoors, as seedling plants can get pretty large and out of control in a great environment. You will also for sure want to put a good cure on this one, 30 days works very well. This lifted up the smells and flavors significantly, and the potency comes up a big notch as well.
Cheers and Good JuJu,
